TalentSphere™ and TechnoSphere Attended AsiaPac NPA Convention

The annual Asia Pacific National Personnel Associates (NPA) Convention held in Shangrilah Hotel Makati on the 13th and 14th of November, 2008 was attended by 46 partners from 14 member-firms across 5 Asian countries, Australia and USA.

The Convention focused mostly on topics relevant to the challenges we are facing due to global economic crisis and the war for global talents. Mr. Bernie Villegas, well-known Philippine economist, said that we are all facing financial “tsunami” but despite of that there are still market of opportunities and jobs to fill in out there.

The agenda was kept simple to provide more time to network with other NPA partners. Some of the featured discussions were Global Recession and its Impact on the Asian Economy, Asian Talent Market & Work Visa Challenges, What Makes a Successful NPA Firm? Recruitment Process Outsourcing & NPA, and How to Attract and Retain Top Talent.
